Job Description
Statutory & Labour Law Compliance:
Ensure adherence to:
-
Factories Act – Ensure time Quarterly, Half Yearly, Yearly return submission, Coordination with Pollution Control Board in getting CTE & CTO, Ensure timely renewal of Factory License
-
Minimum Wages Act – Check on vendor billing regarding compliant on MW & ensure all mandatory abstracts & notices are properly displayed
-
EPF, ESI compliance – Check PF & ESIC challan submission while contractor’s bill processing
-
Maintain FCS registers on monthly basis(Form 15, 16, A, B, G, H, MW etc)
-
Liasoning with statutory government bodies – Asst. Director of Factories, PF Commissioner, Public Health Engineer etc. and giving support during the time of inspection
-
Conducting Work Zone monitoring on regular interval as per guidelines mentioned in Factories Act 1948
-
Coordinating with PHE for approval on septic tank, soakpit, latrines followed with regular cleaning
-
Drinking water test at regular interval and maintaining record
-
Conducting regular statutory audit of contractors in coordination with Aparajitha
-
Closure of Legatrix tasklist
Contractor Compliance
Verify valid labour license in coordination with compliance partner
Health, Safety & Welfare Safety Monitoring

PPE compliance (safety shoe, gloves, safety glass.)

Unsafe practices
-
Coordinate weekly safety committee meeting
Welfare Activities
-
Monitor Rest rooms, lockers, medical facilities/first aid, Uniform for payroll & contractual employees. Plan and conduct different employee engagement activities – Quarterly Dinner, Birthday Celebration, Employee Farewell, Day Outing, any event as per Wabtec India Calander, etc
Administration & Facility Management
-
Cleanliness of shop floor, office, canteen

Quarterly cleaning of drinking water tank
-
Timely pest control of office area (twice in a month)
-
Monthly scrap disposal
-
Timely cob web cleaning across the factory shed
-
Office & Worker washroom is clean and all sanitary equipment’s working as per HK checklist
-
Maintain miscellaneous cash expense & daily consumables (pantry) expense at site
Transport
- Manage employee transport
-
Track vehicle movements
Billing
-
Checking vendor billing pertaining to manpower, security, canteen, employee transportation as per site data and process accordingly
Canteen Supervision
-
Monitor & ensure food quality & hygiene Timely food service Menu compliance
-
Handle employee complaints
Security
-
Coordination with our JV associated stake holders in matters of Security and other infrastructural support
Industrial Relations
Shopfloor Interaction
-
Daily rounds on shop floor
-
Interact with workers to understand grievances & maintain discipline
Grievance Handling
-
Resolve employee issues such as Conflict Management & Work-related dissatisfaction
Discipline & Compliance
-
Misconduct cases such as Indiscipline, absenteeism
-
Issue Warning letters as per process of disciplinary action
Attendance & Shift Management
-
Monitor attendance through biometric & manual registers
-
Process owner of Time & Attendance software and ensure seamless working of application
-
Track Late coming / early going Absenteeism Overtime (OT) records
Workforce Planning & Deployment
-
Daily manpower allocation – Coordinate with contractors by sharing monthly manpower requirement
-
Arrange contract labour (if required)
-
Handle replacement of absentee workers
Educational Qualifications: Graduation in any discipline with Master’s Degree in Administration/HR/Social Work. Degree in law is highly preferable.
Must have excellent written and oral communication skills in English language also be proficient with computers
