Job Summary
We are looking for a passionate and motivated Node.js Developer with 1–2 years of experience to join our development team. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in building scalable backend applications using NestJS and MongoDB, along with a strong understanding of REST APIs and modern JavaScript/TypeScript development.
Roles & Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain backend applications using Node.js and NestJS.
- Design, build, and consume RESTful APIs.
- Work with MongoDB for database design, development, and optimization.
- Write clean, maintainable, and reusable TypeScript code.
- Collaborate with frontend developers, QA engineers, and product teams.
- Debug, troubleshoot, and resolve application issues.
- Optimize application performance and scalability.
- Participate in code reviews and follow coding standards.
- Work with Git for version control and collaborative development.
- Assist in deploying and maintaining applications in development and production environments.
Required Skills
- 1–2 years of experience in Node.js development.
- Strong knowledge of NestJS framework.
- Good understanding of JavaScript (ES6+) and TypeScript.
- Experience with MongoDB and Mongoose.
- Knowledge of REST API development and integration.
- Understanding of asynchronous programming (Promises, Async/Await).
- Familiarity with Git and Git workflows.
- Basic knowledge of authentication mechanisms such as JWT.
- Understanding of environment configuration and API security.
- Good debugging and problem-solving skills.
Preferred Skills
- Knowledge of Docker.
- Basic understanding of Azure or AWS cloud services.
- Experience with Swagger/OpenAPI documentation.
- Familiarity with Redis or caching concepts.
- Exposure to CI/CD pipelines.
- Basic understanding of WebSockets or real-time communication.
- Knowledge of Agile/Scrum development methodologies.
Educational Qualification
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
