Job Summary
We are looking for a responsible and disciplined Hostel Warden to manage the day-to-day operations of the hostel and ensure a safe, secure, and comfortable living environment for students. The ideal candidate should have strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills with the ability to maintain discipline and student welfare.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise the daily operations of the hostel.
- Ensure the safety, security, and well-being of all hostel residents.
- Maintain discipline and enforce hostel rules and regulations.
- Manage student check-in/check-out and room allotments.
- Maintain hostel attendance and resident records.
- Address student concerns, complaints, and emergencies promptly.
- Coordinate with the administration, parents, and staff regarding student welfare.
- Monitor housekeeping, cleanliness, maintenance, and hostel facilities.
- Conduct regular inspections of rooms and common areas.
- Organize hostel meetings and student engagement activities.
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, and institutional policies.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent qualification preferred.
- Previous experience as a Hostel Warden, Residential Warden, or in student administration is an advantage.
- Freshers with strong organizational and communication skills may also apply.
- Good communication skills in Tamil; basic English is preferred.
- Basic computer knowledge (MS Office, Email, and record maintenance).
