Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced ETP Operator to manage the day-to-day operation of the Effluent Treatment Plant (ETP) in a dairy processing facility. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience with MBBR-based ETP systems, wastewater treatment processes, DAF operation, air blowers, and water filtration systems.
Responsibilities:
- Operate and monitor the MBBR (Moving Bed Biofilm Reactor) ETP to ensure efficient treatment of effluent.
- Conduct routine testing of wastewater parameters, including pH analysis.
- Prepare and add biological cultures as per treatment requirements.
- Operate and maintain DAF (Dissolved Air Flotation) units, air blowers, pumps, and related equipment.
- Monitor and operate Activated Carbon Filters (ACF) and Pressure Sand Filters (PSF).
- Record daily operational data, test results, and maintenance activities.
- Perform routine inspections and identify operational issues for timely corrective action.
- Ensure compliance with environmental, safety, and company standards.
- Coordinate with maintenance and production teams to ensure uninterrupted plant operations.
Requirements:
- Experience in dairy industry wastewater treatment operations.
- Hands-on experience operating MBBR-type ETP systems.
- Basic knowledge of wastewater testing, including pH monitoring and culture dosing.
- Experience operating DAF systems and air blowers.
- Knowledge of ACF and PSF water filtration systems.
- Ability to maintain accurate records and reports.
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
- ITI, Diploma, or Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science, Chemistry, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
- 2+ years of experience in ETP operations, preferably in the dairy or food processing industry.
