An HR Manager in a media and advertising agency oversees the entire employee lifecycle while acting as a culture custodian. Responsibilities include talent acquisition for creative roles, performance appraisals, employee engagement, and aligning human resources strategies with the fast-paced, high-burnout dynamics unique to the advertising industry.
Role Summary: We are looking for a strategic and empathetic HR Manager to recruit, Appoint,Train & lead our Human Resources team. The ideal candidate will bridge management and employee relations, ensuring our agency attracts the best industry talent, fosters an inclusive culture, and maintains operational excellence in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities1. Talent Acquisition & Employer Branding
- Manage end-to-end recruitment for diverse roles, including media planners, Sales & Marketing, Operations Team,Business Development and CRM Teams and Key account managers.
- Develop talent pipelines and build our employer brand across platforms like LinkedIn and industry award forums to attract top Media professionals.
- Oversee a seamless and engaging onboarding process that integrates new hires into the agency culture from day one.
2. Culture & Employee Relations
- Champion a positive, inclusive, and purpose-driven work environment that nurtures creativity and minimizes employee burnout.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for employee grievances, counseling, and conflict resolution.
- Drive internal engagement initiatives, including team-building events, leadership feedback sessions, and reward systems.
3. Performance & Talent Development
- Oversee and evolve the agency’s performance appraisal system to drive high-performance and transparent career progression pathways.
- Identify training needs across departments and deploy upskilling programs aligned with evolving branding and advertising trends.
4. HR Strategy, Compliance & Operations
- Formulate and execute HR strategies aligned with the agency’s overall business goals.
- Manage compensation and benefits programs, ensuring they remain competitive within the media and marketing sectors.
- Ensure 100% compliance with local labor laws and workplace regulations.
- Provide decision-making support to senior management utilizing HR metrics, attrition reports, and performance data.
Qualifications & Skills
- Experience: 2–4 years of proven work experience as an HR Manager or equivalent, preferably within an advertising agency, media house, or creative startup
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field .
- Soft Skills: Exceptional active listening, negotiation, and public relations skills.
- Business Acumen: Deep understanding of Hr Policies and Human Resources management with sharp acumen in recruitment, training and Hr development.
Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹35,000.00 per month
