Job Overview:
We are looking for a talented and detail-oriented Jewellery CAD Designer with 4+ years of experience in designing innovative and market-relevant jewellery pieces. The ideal candidate should have strong technical expertise in CAD software and a creative mindset to transform concepts into precise 3D designs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Create high-quality 3D CAD models for rings, earrings, pendants, bracelets, and other jewellery pieces.
- Interpret design concepts, sketches, and references into accurate CAD designs.
- Ensure designs are production-friendly with proper dimensions, stone settings, and metal weights.
- Modify and revise designs based on feedback from clients or internal teams.
- Coordinate with the production and manufacturing team to ensure feasibility.
- Maintain design standards in line with international jewellery trends (US, UK, European markets).
- Optimize designs for cost efficiency and minimal material wastage.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Minimum 4+ years of experience as a Jewellery CAD Designer.
- Strong proficiency in Rhino, MatrixGold, JewelCAD, and ZBrush.
- Good understanding of jewellery manufacturing processes (casting, stone setting, polishing).
- Knowledge of gemstone settings, metal properties, and proportions.
- Strong attention to detail and creativity in design.
- Ability to work under deadlines and manage multiple projects.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience working with international clients or export houses.
- Knowledge of current global jewellery trends.
- Basic understanding of rendering tools for presentation purposes.
