Role Overview
We are looking for passionate Software Development Interns with experience or strong interest in the MERN Stack, Next.js, and AI-assisted development tools such as Cursor AI. This internship offers hands-on experience building modern web applications, collaborating with developers, and contributing to production-ready products.
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain web applications using MongoDB, Express.js, React.js, Next.js, and Node.js.
- Build responsive and user-friendly interfaces.
- Integrate APIs, databases, and third-party services.
- Use AI-powered development tools such as Cursor AI to improve productivity and code quality.
- Collaborate with team members through code reviews and sprint planning.
- Debug, test, and optimize applications for performance.
- Contribute to real startup products and features that go live.
Required SkillsTechnical Skills
- Strong understanding of JavaScript and TypeScript
- Experience with React.js and Next.js
- Knowledge of Node.js and Express.js
- Familiarity with MongoDB and REST APIs
- Understanding of Git and GitHub workflows
- Basic knowledge of deployment platforms such as Vercel, Netlify, or AWS
AI Development Skills
- Experience using Cursor AI, GitHub Copilot, ChatGPT, or similar AI coding assistants
- Ability to leverage AI tools for code generation, debugging, documentation, and optimization
- Understanding of prompt engineering for software development workflows
Preferred Qualifications
- Personal projects, portfolio, or GitHub repositories
- Experience building full-stack applications
- Knowledge of authentication systems (JWT, OAuth)
- Familiarity with modern UI libraries such as Tailwind CSS or Shadcn UI
- Interest in startups, SaaS products, and AI technologies
