US Accounting Auditor – Remote (India)
Salary: ₹55,000–₹65,000 INR per month

About the Role
We are looking for a strict and detail-oriented US Accounting Auditor to join our team.
Your primary responsibility will be auditing the bookkeeping completed by our accountants to ensure every client receives accurate, high-quality financials. You will identify errors, inconsistencies, missed items, and opportunities for improvement, then provide clear feedback to management and the bookkeeping team.
This is a quality control role. We are looking for someone who is confident, thorough, and not afraid to point out mistakes.
Responsibilities
- Audit completed bookkeeping for accuracy
- Review transaction categorization
- Review bank and credit card reconciliations
- Verify financial statements are accurate and complete
- Identify bookkeeping errors and inconsistencies
- Document audit findings and provide feedback to management
- Help improve bookkeeping quality across the company
- Ensure company bookkeeping standards are consistently followed
Requirements
Required Experience
- Strong experience with US bookkeeping
- Advanced QuickBooks Online experience
- Extensive experience with transaction categorization
- Extensive experience performing bank and credit card reconciliations
- Strong understanding of US accounting principles
- Excellent attention to detail
- Able to identify errors quickly and accurately
- Good written and spoken English
- Reliable internet connection

Compensation
- ₹55,000–₹65,000 INR per month (depending on experience)
- Paid twice per month
- Payroll is processed on the 1st and 16th of each month.
