We are looking for a passionate and goal-oriented Academic Counselor to guide prospective students in choosing the right educational programs and support them throughout the admission process. The ideal candidate should possess excellent communication and counseling skills, build trust with students and parents, and contribute to the organization's enrollment goals through ethical and student-centric guidance.
Key Responsibilities
- Counsel prospective students and parents through telephone, online, and in-person interactions regarding the organization's courses and career opportunities.
- Understand students' educational background, career aspirations, and requirements to recommend suitable programs.
- Provide accurate, transparent, and ethical guidance throughout the counseling and admission process.
- Maintain regular follow-ups with prospective students to nurture inquiries and convert them into admissions.
- Assist students with the admission process, documentation, and enrollment formalities.
- Coordinate with internal departments to ensure a smooth admission experience.
- Maintain accurate records of student interactions, inquiries, and follow-up activities in the CRM or admission system.
- Achieve assigned monthly admission and counseling targets while maintaining a high standard of professionalism.
- Build long-term relationships with students and parents through excellent service and continuous support.
- Bachelor's degree in any discipline.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and counseling skills.
- Prior experience in academic counseling, admissions, customer relationship management, telesales, or any sales-oriented role is an added advantage.
- Freshers with strong communication skills, a positive attitude, and a willingness to learn are encouraged to apply.
