We are seeking an SEO Executive to join our marketing team. This role involves executing search engine optimization strategies to increase organic search visibility, drive traffic, and improve conversion rates for our website. The ideal candidate will have experience with SEO tools, content management systems like WordPress, and basic HTML knowledge to ensure websites are fully optimized for search engines.
Key Responsibilities:
- SEO Strategy & Execution:
- Conduct keyword research, competitor analysis, and site audits to identify SEO opportunities and challenges.
- Develop on-page and off-page optimization strategies based on SEO best practices.
- On-Page Optimization:
Optimize website content, meta tags, header tags, URLs, and internal linking structure to enhance SEO performance.
-Ensure SEO-friendly content by working closely with the content team to implement targeted keywords in text, headings, and media.
- Off-Page Optimization:
Manage link-building efforts through outreach and other methods to improve domain authority.
- WordPress Management:
- Utilize WordPress to upload, edit, and optimize content and media.
- Configure Yoast SEO or Rank Math plugins for SEO optimization.
- Optimize the website for speed, mobile responsiveness, and user experience.
- Technical SEO:
Identify and resolve technical SEO issues like broken links, site speed, mobile responsiveness, and crawl errors.
Monitor and improve page load speeds using tools like Google PageSpeed Insights or GTmetrix.
Work with developers to ensure proper HTML and website structure to meet SEO needs.
- Analytics & Reporting:
Use Google Analytics, Google Search Console, and other SEO tools to track performance and generate monthly reports on organic traffic, rankings, and SEO KPIs.
Analyze traffic data and make recommendations for optimizing the site’s performance based on insights.
- Stay Updated:
Keep up to date with the latest SEO trends, algorithm updates, and best practices.
Skills & Qualifications:
- Proven experience in SEO, with a strong understanding of on-page, off-page, and technical SEO practices.
- Proficiency with WordPress and experience using SEO plugins such as Yoast SEO or Rank Math.
- Basic knowledge of HTML, including understanding meta tags, header tags, anchor text, image optimization, and other essential SEO elements.
- Familiarity with SEO tools such as Google Analytics, Google Search Console, SEMrush, Ahrefs, or similar platforms.
- Strong understanding of SEO analytics and the ability to extract insights from data to improve SEO strategy.
- Ability to create keyword-optimized content and collaborate with the content team.
- Familiarity with mobile SEO and website optimization for various devices.
- Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively with different teams.
Preferred Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Computer Science, or a related field.
Experience with PPC (Pay Per Click) campaigns is a plus.
Knowledge of social media marketing as it relates to SEO is advantageous.
