About the Role
WARP Architects is looking for a skilled and detail-oriented Electrical Consultant to join our MEP Design team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing efficient and compliant electrical systems for commercial, institutional, hospitality, and residential projects while coordinating with architects, structural engineers, and other consultants.
Key Responsibilities
- Design internal and external electrical systems for building projects.
- Prepare electrical load calculations and load schedules.
- Develop Single Line Diagrams (SLDs).
- Design lighting, power distribution, cable routing, and earthing systems.
- Design Extra Low Voltage (ELV) systems including CCTV, Data Networking, Intercom, and Audio Systems.
- Prepare BOQs, cost estimates, tender documents, and technical specifications.
- Coordinate with architects, structural consultants, and MEP disciplines throughout the design process.
- Review vendor technical submissions and participate in technical evaluations.
- Conduct periodic site inspections to ensure compliance with approved designs.
- Ensure all electrical designs comply with NBC, IS Codes, and applicable industry standards.
- Support project execution through technical coordination and design revisions when required.
Qualifications
- BE/B.Tech in Electrical Engineering.
- 3–5 years of experience in MEP Electrical Design Consultancy.
Preferred Candidate Profile
- Experience in commercial, institutional, hospitality, or residential building projects.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD.
- Strong knowledge of HT/LT systems, DG, UPS, Transformers, and ELV systems.
- Experience in BOQ preparation, tender documentation, and cost estimation.
- Good understanding of NBC and relevant IS Codes.
- Strong communication, coordination, and problem-solving skills.
- Candidates residing in or willing to relocate to Coimbatore are preferred.
Salary
₹30,000 – ₹35,000 per month
Note:
This role requires coordination with multidisciplinary project teams and periodic site visits. Additional responsibilities may be assigned based on project requirements.
Pay: ₹30,000.00 - ₹35,000.00 per month
