Key Responsibilities
Inventory & Warehouse Management
Monitor and maintain accurate inventory records for all products and materials.
Track all inward and outward stock movements at the warehouse.
Record goods received, goods issued, transfers, returns, damages, and adjustments.
Verify quantities received against purchase orders, delivery documents, and invoices.
Ensure all stock movements are properly documented and recorded.
Monitor stock availability and identify shortages, excess stock, damaged goods, or
discrepancies.
Maintain proper documentation for all inventory transactions.
Coordinate with warehouse, purchase, sales, production, and accounts teams regarding
inventory movements.
Ensure proper storage, identification, and organization of inventory.
Conduct regular physical stock verification and reconcile physical stock with system
records.
Investigate and report inventory discrepancies to management.
QuickBooks & System Updates
Maintain accurate inventory-related transactions and records in QuickBooks.
Update inward and outward stock transactions promptly.
Verify system entries against physical stock and supporting documents.
Ensure inventory records are accurate and up to date.
Coordinate with the Accounts team regarding inventory-related transactions and
discrepancies.
Maintain proper digital and physical records of inventory documents.
Stock Reconciliation & Control
Perform daily, weekly, and monthly inventory reconciliation.
Compare physical stock with system records and identify variances.
Track stock adjustments and ensure proper authorization for discrepancies.
Monitor slow-moving, fast-moving, damaged, expired, or obsolete inventory.
Maintain proper records of stock wastage, damages, returns, and write-offs.
Support inventory planning by providing accurate stock information to management.
Internal Audit Support
Assist management and internal auditors during inventory audits.
Provide inventory reports, stock registers, inward/outward records, and supporting
documents required for audits.
Ensure inventory documentation is complete and properly maintained.
Identify discrepancies during internal checks and assist in resolving them.
Support periodic physical stock audits and verification.
Maintain proper audit trails for inventory transactions.
Ensure inventory processes are followed consistently and accurately.
Reporting
Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly inventory reports.
Prepare stock movement and stock reconciliation reports.
Report inventory shortages, excesses, damages, and discrepancies to management.
Provide accurate inventory data to the Accounts, Sales, Purchase, and Management
teams.
Maintain proper records of all inventory-related activities.
Required Qualifications & Experience
Bachelor's degree in Commerce, Business Administration, Supply Chain Management,
Logistics, or a related field is preferred.
1–3 years of relevant experience in inventory, warehouse, or stock management.
Experience in FMCG, food products, retail, or distribution will be an added advantage.
Good knowledge of inventory management and warehouse processes.
Experience tracking inward and outward stock movements.
Working knowledge of QuickBooks is preferred.
Good knowledge of MS Excel and inventory reporting.
Strong attention to detail and numerical accuracy.
Ability to identify and resolve inventory discrepancies.
Good documentation and record-keeping skills.
Basic understanding of accounting and inventory-related transactions.
Experience supporting stock verification or internal audits will be an advantage.
Good communication and coordination skills.
Ability to work independently and manage multiple inventory activities.
Honest, responsible, organized, and detail-oriented approach.
Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)
Inventory record accuracy.
Accuracy of inward and outward stock entries.
Physical stock vs. system reconciliation accuracy.
Timely updating of QuickBooks and inventory records.
Reduction in inventory discrepancies and stock variances.
Timely completion of stock verification.
Accuracy and completeness of inventory documentation.
Proper tracking of damaged, returned, and adjusted stock.
Timely submission of inventory reports.
Successful support during internal audits.
Compliance with warehouse and inventory-control procedures.
Effective coordination with Accounts, Purchase, Sales, and Warehouse teams.
Compensation
Annual CTC: To be determined based on experience and suitability for the role.
The final compensation will be determined based on the candidate's relevant experience, skills,
QuickBooks knowledge, inventory-management experience, and overall suitability for the
position.
Pay: ₹10,029.42 - ₹32,563.62 per month
