Job Title: EYP Assistant Teacher
Location: One World International School (OWIS), Whitefield
Key Responsibilities
- Assist the Homeroom Teacher in planning and delivering engaging, play-based learning experiences aligned with the IB Primary Years Programme (PYP).
- Support children's academic, social, emotional, and physical development in a safe and nurturing environment.
- Assist with classroom management, learning materials, and student supervision during lessons, breaks, and school activities.
- Observe and monitor student progress, providing feedback to the Homeroom Teacher.
- Support classroom documentation, displays, and preparation of teaching resources.
- Foster positive relationships with students, colleagues, and parents.
- Ensure the health, safety, and well-being of all students at all times.
- Participate in school events, meetings, and professional development activities.
Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education, Education, or a related field.
- Diploma/Certification in Early Childhood Education is preferred.
- 1–2 years of experience in a preschool or early years setting (IB PYP experience preferred).
- Good communication, interpersonal, and classroom support skills.
- Passion for working with young children and promoting inquiry-based learning.
Reporting To: EYP Homeroom Teacher / EYP Coordinator.
Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹20,000.00 per month
