SEO InternAbout the Role
We are looking for a motivated SEO Intern to join our digital marketing team. The ideal candidate should have basic knowledge of both On-Page SEO and Off-Page SEO and be eager to learn search engine optimization strategies to improve website rankings and organic traffic.
ResponsibilitiesOn-Page SEO
- Conduct keyword research and competitor analysis.
- Optimize website content, meta titles, meta descriptions, headings, and URLs.
- Monitor and improve website SEO performance.
- Assist in content optimization according to SEO best practices.
- Identify and fix basic on-page SEO issues.
- Support internal linking and website structure optimization.
Off-Page SEO
- Build high-quality backlinks through outreach and link-building activities.
- Submit websites to relevant directories, business listings, and forums.
- Perform competitor backlink analysis.
- Assist in guest posting and content promotion activities.
- Monitor backlink profiles and off-page SEO performance.
Requirements
- Basic understanding of SEO concepts and Google ranking factors.
- Knowledge of On-Page SEO and Off-Page SEO techniques.
- Familiarity with keyword research tools and SEO tools is a plus.
- Understanding of Google Search Console and Google Analytics is preferred.
- Good written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to learn quickly and work in a team environment.
Preferred Skills
- Basic knowledge of HTML and WordPress.
- Familiarity with SEO tools such as Ahrefs, SEMrush, Ubersuggest, or Moz.
- Understanding of content marketing and digital marketing concepts.
