You will have the opportunity to actively shape the future financial processes in our stream “Business Architecture, Economic Model & Integration”, thereby supporting an integrated, consistent, and AI‑based financial ecosystem at Mercedes‑Benz.
The “Result 2” capability team is responsible for enabling several business analysts who both develop and enhance various data products of our Finance Controlling Operating System “FC.OS” and design overarching business governance.

As a Business Analyst, you will work with a motivated and agile team to drive the transformation toward a more integrated and consistent FC financial systems landscape.
Your key responsibilities include:
Strategic architecture and methodology development:
You contribute to the strategic further development of our overarching business architecture and take ownership of, as well as coordinate, projects to define specific methods, processes, and system requirements.
Quality assurance and consistency:
You ensure a high level of consistency in methodological and process‑oriented approaches across the diverse BI systems of the Mercedes‑Benz finance organization.
Implementation:
Together with our international IT development team, you implement central system solutions and are part of the FC.OS team.
Requirements management and integration:
You efficiently manage methodology‑related topics and requirements in the relevant governance and IT areas and align results with top management.
Concept integration and alignment:
You proactively discuss concepts and successfully integrate them into relevant IT products, working closely with the responsible product owners and impacted departments.
Moderation and concept development:
You professionally prepare, coordinate, moderate, and follow up on interdisciplinary and cross‑functional working groups to develop high‑level and detailed concepts, in close and effective coordination with the relevant ARTs (Agile Release Trains).
Management of external expertise:
You work closely with external consultants to optimally integrate their specific expertise into our projects.

Qualifications – Internal
Ideally, you bring the following:
A completed degree in business administration, business informatics, industrial engineering, or a comparable qualification
In‑depth knowledge of controlling and accounting processes and financial data structures within the Mercedes‑Benz Group
Experience in divisional controlling and profit & loss accounting
Knowledge of business interdependencies and specific characteristics within Mercedes‑Benz accounting, controlling, and core & supplier processes
Knowledge of relevant legal frameworks, particularly IFRS
Solid understanding of Mercedes‑Benz business processes and their key value drivers
IT skills:
Confident use of MS Office applications (especially PowerPoint and Excel)
SAP knowledge, particularly FI & CO‑PA, is an advantage
Knowledge of BI systems such as MS Fabric
Experience using agile tools such as Jira, Confluence, Xray, etc.
