Job Summary
Mercy Hospital, Kottayam is seeking a dedicated and skilled X-Ray Technician to join our Radiology Department. The ideal candidate should have at least one year of experience in diagnostic imaging and be capable of performing radiographic procedures while ensuring patient safety and comfort.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform X-ray examinations as prescribed by physicians.
- Prepare patients for radiographic procedures and explain the process.
- Ensure proper positioning of patients to obtain high-quality diagnostic images.
- Maintain radiation safety standards and infection control protocols.
- Operate and maintain X-ray equipment efficiently.
- Assist radiologists and healthcare professionals in diagnostic procedures.
- Maintain accurate patient records and imaging documentation.
- Ensure equipment is clean, functional, and regularly checked for quality assurance.
Requirements
- Diploma/Bachelor's Degree in Radiology Imaging Technology or equivalent qualification.
- Minimum 1 year of experience as an X-Ray Technician.
- Knowledge of radiographic procedures and radiation safety protocols.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a hospital environment.
