Desired Education
- Diploma or B.E./ B.Tech in Mechanical, or Electrical
- Certification in Amusement Ride Safety / Industrial Safety preferred
- ITI qualification acceptable for highly experienced candidates
Experience
- 4–6 years in hands-on maintenance of mechanical/electro-mechanical equipment
- Amusement parks, theme parks, FEC, or industrial plant: strongly preferred
- Preventive maintenance programme management
- OEM manuals, electrical drawings, and technical schematics
Skills
- Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting
- Familiarity with hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical drive systems
- Comfortable working at heights (zip line, coaster, adventure park)
- Physically fit; able to work outdoors in all weather conditions
- Technical documentation in English and/or Hindi
- Flexible for weekends, holidays, and emergency callouts

- The Maintenance Engineer ensures the safety, operational readiness, and longevity of all rides, games, mechanical equipment, and park infrastructure at Carnival 365. This is a critical safety-facing role — the first point of response for any equipment fault. The person will eventually build and lead an in-house maintenance team as the park scales.
Key responsibilities
Rides and equipment maintenance
- Daily pre-opening safety inspections of all rides — zip roller coaster, bumper cars, mechanical rides, swing park, flying car, crazy bus, rotating lifting tower, bungee trampoline, rocket ejection, 360 cycle, and all FEC equipment
- Scheduled Preventive Maintenance (PM) as per OEM intervals; maintain PM logs and checklists
- First-response breakdown diagnosis and repair during operating hours; coordinate with OEM service teams where needed
- Manage adventure zone equipment: zip line, zip bike track, wall climbing, giant swing structural integrity and harness/hardware safety
- Maintain the ATV track and off-road vehicles for mechanical soundness
Electrical and infrastructure maintenance
- Oversee electrical infrastructure — electrical room, LT panel room, distribution boards, all connected systems
- Maintain lighting (pathway, operational, emergency), CCTV, and audio equipment
- Manage water supply, plumbing, and sanitation across all zones
- Civil upkeep of temporary and semi-permanent structures; regular inspection of foot overbridge
Safety and compliance
- Maintain a Ride Safety Register for every piece of equipment; sign off before each operational day
- Immediately ground any ride or equipment that fails inspection; communicate to Operations Manager
- Ensure fire safety equipment is serviced, tagged, and compliant across all zones
- Maintain audit readiness for LDA inspections, insurance assessments, and internal audits
OEM and vendor coordination
- Maintain AMC documentation and OEM contact records for all equipment
- Be present during all OEM service visits; track warranty coverage and consumable schedules
- Raise purchase requisitions for spare parts, lubricants, and tools; maintain critical spares inventory on-site
Documentation, reporting and team building
- Submit daily maintenance status to Operations Manager; weekly detailed reports to HQ
- Track MTBF and MTTR for all major equipment; propose improvements for recurring failures
- As park scales — onboard, train, and supervise technicians; develop SOPs and training calendar

3 Breakdown response time- Average resolution ≤ 60 minutes for non-structural faults during operating hours
4 Safety record -Zero ride-related visitor injuries; zero failed LDA/insurance safety inspections
5 Documentation completeness -100% up-to-date Ride Safety Register; daily logs submitted without gaps
6 Spare parts inventory -Zero ride downtime due to unavailability of critical spares
7 OEM coordination- All AMC schedules met; OEM escalations resolved within defined SLA
8 Compliance readiness -Zero non-compliance findings during statutory inspections; all certifications current
Pay: ₹50,000.00 - ₹55,000.00 per month
