Job Summary
The Restaurant Hostess is responsible for welcoming guests, managing reservations, coordinating seating arrangements, and ensuring guests receive a positive first impression of the restaurant. The role helps maintain smooth front-of-house operations and excellent customer service.
Key Responsibilities1. Guest Reception
- Welcome guests warmly upon arrival
- Escort guests to their tables and provide menus
- Maintain a friendly and professional attitude at all times
- Assist guests with inquiries and special requests
2. Reservation Management
- Manage table reservations and waiting lists
- Answer phone calls and handle booking inquiries
- Coordinate seating to optimize table turnover and guest comfort
3. Customer Service
- Ensure guests are attended to promptly
- Communicate waiting times accurately
- Handle guest concerns politely and escalate issues when required
4. Coordination
- Coordinate with restaurant captains, servers, and kitchen staff
- Monitor dining area availability and seating flow
- Support smooth front-desk and dining operations
5. Cleanliness & Presentation
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of reception area
- Ensure menus and waiting areas are presentable
- Follow grooming and hygiene standards
Required Skills & Qualifications

- Ability to multitask and remain calm under pressure
- Basic computer and reservation system knowledge
Education & Experience
- High school diploma or hospitality qualification preferred
- 1–2 years of experience in hospitality or customer service preferred
Pay: ₹18,000.00 - ₹22,000.00 per month
