Core Responsibilities:
- Medication Dispensing: Accurately dispense medications (pills, ointments, injections) according to physician prescriptions and established protocols.
- Inventory Management: Maintain accurate records of pharmaceutical stock, monitor expiry dates, and coordinate with vendors to replenish inventory as needed.
- Prescription Review: Review orders for accuracy, potential drug-drug interactions, and appropriateness based on patient history.
- Collaboration: Work closely with doctors, nurses, and administrative staff to optimize treatment plans and resolve any prescription discrepancies.
