Job Description: Tech Lead
Location- Pune
Role Summary
The Tech Lead will spearhead technical initiatives, mentor a team of developers, and ensure the delivery of robust, scalable software solutions. This role requires a blend of hands-on coding, architectural oversight, and leadership.
Key Responsibilities
- Technical Leadership: Lead the design and implementation of scalable, secure, and high-performance applications using Java/J2EE technologies.
- Team Mentorship: Guide and mentor a team of 5-6 developers, fostering a collaborative and growth-oriented environment.
- Hands-On Development: Actively contribute to coding, focusing on Java, Spring Boot, and Hibernate, while maintaining high code quality.
- Architecture Design: Design and implement microservices-based architectures and RESTful APIs.
- Stakeholder Collaboration: Work closely with product managers, business analysts, and other stakeholders to gather and refine requirements.
- Project Delivery: Ensure timely delivery of projects while adhering to quality standards and timelines.
- Process Improvement: Implement best practices in Agile methodologies, CI/CD pipelines, and DevOps workflows.
- Innovation: Stay updated on emerging technologies and propose improvements to existing systems.
Qualifications
- Experience: Minimum 6 years of experience in software development, with a strong focus on Java/J2EE technologies, and at least 2 years in a leadership role.
- Must-Have Skills:
- Expertise in Java, Spring Boot, Hibernate, and RESTful API development.
- Hands-on experience in designing and implementing microservices.
- Proven leadership skills with experience managing a team of developers.
- Familiarity with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, or GCP).
- Experience with CI/CD tools and Agile/Scrum methodologies.
- Strong proficiency in PostgreSQL and PL/pgSQL, including writing stored procedures, functions, and triggers, along with schema design, query optimisation, and performance tuning.
- Good-to-Have Skills:
- Proficiency in front-end technologies like JavaScript, HTML5, CSS3, and frameworks such as React or Angular.
- Knowledge of containerization tools like Docker and Kubernetes.
- Exposure to DevOps practices and tools (e.g., Jenkins, Git, Terraform).
- Education: B.E./B.Tech/MCA or equivalent experience in a related field.
