Key Roles & Responsibilities: -
Documentation Management: Preparing and verifying critical documents: Commercial Invoice, Packing List, Bill of Lading, Certificate of Origin, LC, Insurance Policy, Duty Calculation sheet & cross-checking of Checklist for Bill of entry/Shipping Bill ensuring 100% accuracy.
Logistics & Coordination: Coordinating with freight forwarders/Shipping Lines, CHA/Customs Brokers, CFSs and Transporters for timely clearance, pick-up and delivery.
Customs Clearance & Compliance: Handling & following customs formalities, ensuring compliance with DGFT policies, RBI regulations, and GST norms.
Supplier Relations: Maintaining regular contact with international suppliers to track orders, preparation of Draft GRPO in ERP module and resolve discrepancies with communication from stakeholders.
Shipment Tracking: Monitoring cargo movement (sea/air/road) to identify delays and ensure cost-effective delivery.
Reporting: Updating management via MIS reports on cargo status, compliance, and shipment costs.
Key Skills & Requirements: -
Experience: Min 2 years in import/export logistics.
Technical Knowledge: Deep understanding of HS Codes, INCOTERMS 2020, DGFT rules, and Customs Procedures.
Systems Proficiency: Experience with operating ERP systems (preferably SAP S/4 HANA), [MS Excel], and like EXIM/shipping software, Outlook emailing.
Soft Skills: Strong communication, negotiation, and analytical skills.
Education: Bachelor’s degree in any stream, Logistics, or Supply Chain.

Documentation accuracy (zero errors).
Timely customs clearance & goods delivery (Inbound & Outbound both) to avoid demurrage/detention.
Cost optimization of Freight, CFS, Transportation and clearing charges.
