The PhonePe Field Sales Executive role is a dynamic, on-ground position focused on merchant acquisition and product distribution. Executives travel within local markets to sign up small businesses, promote digital payment solutions (like QR codes and Soundboxes), and ensure high daily sales performance. Key Responsibilities
- Merchant Onboarding: Visit local markets, approach shopkeepers, and acquire new merchants for the PhonePe platform.
- Device Sales & Upselling: Pitch and sell PhonePe value-added devices and financial products, primarily the PhonePe Soundbox (Speaker) and EDC/card swipe machines.
- Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with retailers, ensure KYC completion, and assist them with initial product setup.
- Issue Resolution: Visit existing merchants to resolve basic technical or service-related issues, ensuring high retention and usage.
- Target Achievement: Meet daily and monthly quotas for merchant onboarding and device sales.
- Market Reporting: Share consistent feedback on market trends, competitor moves, and submit daily visit reports to area managers.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Education: Typically requires a minimum of a 12th Pass or Bachelor’s degree.
- Experience: 0 to 3 years of experience in field sales (FMCG, banking, telecom, or fintech is a plus), though freshers with strong communication and convincing skills are also welcome.
- Essentials: A working smartphone, two-wheeler (with a valid driving license), and relevant documents (PAN, Aadhar, and a bank account).
- Local Market Knowledge: Familiarity with the assigned geography, local business ecosystems, and regional languages.
Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹50,000.00 per month
