Job Summary
The In-House Welder is responsible for carrying out welding, fabrication, repair, and maintenance works for machinery, racks, tables, trolleys, gates, and other metal structures within the uniform manufacturing company. The role supports the maintenance team in ensuring smooth factory operations and workplace safety.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform welding and fabrication works as per maintenance requirements
- Repair damaged metal structures, furniture, machinery frames, racks, and equipment
- Carry out preventive and breakdown maintenance support for factory infrastructure
- Assist in installation and modification of production equipment and workstations
- Use welding machines, grinders, cutting tools, and fabrication equipment safely
- Maintain tools and equipment in proper working condition
- Coordinate with maintenance and production teams for urgent repair works
- Ensure workplace cleanliness and follow safety procedures during welding activities
- Support general maintenance activities when required
Required Skills & Qualifications
- ITI / Vocational certification in Welding or related trade
- Proven experience in arc welding, gas welding, and fabrication works
- Knowledge of metal cutting, grinding, and fitting works
- Ability to read basic measurements and fabrication drawings
- Understanding of industrial safety practices
- Physically fit and capable of handling maintenance work in factory environments
Pay: ₹800.00 - ₹1,000.00 per day
