Quality Controller
Quality Controller is responsible for ensuring that all products meet international quality standards and customer specifications before shipment. The role involves overseeing quality checks, maintaining compliance with export regulations, and coordinating with production and logistics teams to ensure timely and defect-free dispatch.
Responsibilities:
- Monitor and ensure food quality as per company standards
- Conduct regular checks on raw materials, preparation, and finished food products
- Maintain hygiene and food safety standards in the production area
- Ensure proper storage, labeling, and FIFO practices
- Maintain quality checklists, reports, and daily records
- Identify quality issues and implement corrective actions
- Supervise daily production activities and staff performance
- Ensure production targets are met on time with consistent quality
- Coordinate with kitchen team for smooth workflow and timely preparation
- Monitor portion control, wastage control, and inventory usage
- Ensure proper cleaning and sanitation of equipment and work areas
- Support Production team in maintaining standard recipes and processes
Requirements:
- Minimum 2-3 years of experience in Quality Control
- Knowledge of food hygiene, safety standards, and Production operations
- Ability to handle production supervision and maintain discipline in Production staff
- Good communication and reporting skills
Preferred Candidate Profile:
- Candidates from Ernakulam
- Experience in hotels, restaurants, catering, central kitchen, or food production units
- Knowledge of FSSAI / HACCP standards is an added advantage
- Strong leadership and team handling skills
