Job Summary:
A Pre-Delivery Inspection (PDI) Technician is responsible for inspecting, testing, and preparing vehicles or equipment before they are delivered to customers. The role ensures that all products meet quality standards, are fully functional, and are free from defects.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform detailed inspections of vehicles/equipment prior to delivery
- Check mechanical, electrical, and safety systems for proper operation
- Identify and report defects, damages, or missing components
- Carry out minor repairs, adjustments, and corrections as needed
- Ensure cleanliness and proper presentation of the vehicle/product
- Verify that all documentation and accessories are complete
- Follow manufacturer guidelines and company quality standards
- Maintain records of inspections and work performed
- Coordinate with service and sales teams to meet delivery schedules
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Diploma, ITI or certification in automotive/mechanical engineering (preferred)
- Basic knowledge of vehicle systems (engine, brakes, electrical, etc.)
- Ability to use diagnostic tools and equipment
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
- Good communication and teamwork abilities
- Time management skills and ability to meet deadlines
Experience:
- Minimum 1Year of experience in automotive service, inspection, or related field (preferred)
Pay: ₹12,500.00 - ₹16,000.00 per month
