Commis I – Chinese Cuisine
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in the preparation and cooking of Chinese dishes according to recipes and quality standards.
- Prepare ingredients, including chopping vegetables, portioning meats, and preparing sauces.
- Support senior chefs in daily kitchen operations and food production.
- Ensure consistency in food taste, presentation, and portion sizes.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the Chinese kitchen section.
- Follow food safety, hygiene, and sanitation standards at all times.
- Properly store, label, and rotate food items using FIFO procedures.
- Monitor stock levels and inform senior chefs of inventory requirements.
- Operate kitchen equipment safely and report any maintenance issues.
- Assist in receiving, checking, and storing kitchen deliveries.
- Minimize food waste and ensure efficient use of ingredients.
- Work collaboratively with the kitchen team to ensure timely service.
Pay: ₹17,000.00 - ₹18,000.00 per month
