Job Purpose
To lead the Nagercoil showroom sales team, accelerate two-wheeler retail volumes across the Kanniyakumari district, and ensure exceptional customer satisfaction standards. The Sales Manager will drive dealer profitability by managing vehicle sales, exchange programs, financing tie-ups, and accessory targets. [1, 2]
Key Responsibilities
- Target Achievement: Drive monthly retail and wholesale targets for Honda scooters and motorcycles in the Nagercoil territory. [1]
- Team Management: Direct, mentor, and track the productivity of showroom sales executives and field executives.
- Lead Conversion: Monitor walk-ins, test-ride bookings, and digital enquiries to ensure optimal conversion rates.
- Financing & RTO Liaison: Work closely with nationalized banks and NBFC partners to provide localized financing options. Oversee vehicle documentation for local Regional Transport Office (RTO) registrations. [1, 2]
- Stock & Inventory: Keep track of the K.P. Road showroom inventory to ensure high-demand models (like the Honda Activa or Dio) are always available. [1, 2]
- Customer Experience: Maintain high dealership satisfaction scores by addressing customer issues and facilitating smooth delivery handovers.
Minimum Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s Degree (Graduate) in any discipline is mandatory.
- Experience: Minimum 5 years of strict experience in two-wheeler dealership sales. [1]
Required Skills
- Strong team leadership, motivational skills, and goal-oriented management.
- Fluency in Tamil for local customer interactions, and conversational English. Proficiency in Malayalam is an added advantage given the proximity to the border.
- Deep knowledge of the Kanniyakumari district automobile market and consumer demographics.
- Competence in automotive CRM tools and Microsoft Excel tracking sheet management. [1, 2]
