Position Summary
The Dispatch Boy is responsible for assisting in the accurate packing, labeling, loading, and dispatch of pharmaceutical products while ensuring timely deliveries and compliance with company quality standards and SOPs.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in packing and dispatching pharmaceutical products as per invoices and dispatch schedules.
- Verify product quantity, batch number, manufacturing date, expiry date, and packing details before dispatch.
- Ensure all dispatch documents (invoice, e-way bill, transporter receipt, packing list, etc.) are complete and accurate.
- Load and unload goods safely to prevent product damage.
- Coordinate with the warehouse, production, and logistics teams for timely order dispatch.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dispatch area.
- Assist in stock movement and inventory handling as instructed.
- Ensure proper labeling, sealing, and packaging of products before shipment.
- Report any damaged, expired, or mismatched products immediately to the Dispatch Executive.
- Follow GMP, SOPs, and company safety guidelines during dispatch operations.
- Support courier bookings and transporter coordination when required.
- Perform any other dispatch-related tasks assigned by the Dispatch Manager.
Required Skills
- Basic understanding of warehouse and dispatch operations.
- Ability to read invoices and shipping labels.
- Good physical fitness for loading and unloading materials.
- Basic communication and teamwork skills.
- Punctual, disciplined, and responsible.
- Experience in pharmaceutical or FMCG dispatch operations.
Qualification
- Minimum: 10th Pass / 12th Pass.
- Experience: Fresher or 0–2 years of experience in dispatch, warehouse, or logistics (pharmaceutical experience preferred).
Reporting To
Dispatch Executive / Dispatch Manager
Pay: ₹10,000.00 - ₹12,000.00 per month
