- Theme & Plugin Development: Designing and implementing custom WordPress themes and plugins from scratch to meet specific client needs.
- Back-End Management: Managing server-side logic, database integrations (MySQL), and the interchange of data between the server and the users.
- Front-End Integration: Converting design mockups (e.g., from Figma) into responsive, pixel-perfect user interfaces using HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript.
- Site Optimization: Improving website speed, scalability, and technical SEO performance.
- Maintenance & Security: Performing regular updates, backups, and security patches to protect against vulnerabilities.
- Troubleshooting: Identifying and resolving technical issues, bugs, and performance bottlenecks across various browsers and devices.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Core Languages: Advanced proficiency in PHP, HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript (including jQuery).
- WordPress Ecosystem: Deep understanding of WordPress Core, hooks, filters, custom post types (CPT), and taxonomies.
- Database Management: Strong knowledge of MySQL and database architecture.
- Development Tools: Proficiency with version control systems like Git and debugging tools like Chrome DevTools or Query Monitor.
- E-commerce: Experience with WooCommerce setup and customization.
- API Integration: Ability to integrate and build REST APIs and third-party services.
- Education: Typically a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
