Job Summary
We are looking for a skilled and proactive Field Service Engineer to be based in Chandigarh as a Resident Engineer. The candidate will be responsible for installation, preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, calibration, and technical support of Radiology Equipment, specifically Digital X-Ray Systems and C-Arm Systems. The role requires strong technical expertise, customer-facing skills, and the ability to independently manage service activities while coordinating with the Head Office service team.
Key Responsibilities
- Installation and commissioning of X-Ray and C-Arm equipment.
- Preventive maintenance and breakdown support.
- Troubleshooting hardware, electrical, and software issues.
- Customer training and technical support.
- Preparation of service reports and documentation.
- Coordination with Head Office for service activities and spare parts.
Requirements
- Diploma/B.E./B.Tech in Biomedical, Electronics, Electrical, Instrumentation, or related field.
- 2–8 years of experience in servicing medical imaging equipment.
- Hands-on experience with Digital X-Ray and/or C-Arm systems.
- Good communication and customer-handling skills.
- Willingness to travel within the assigned territory.
