Freelance Video Editor (10–12 Reels/Month)
We're looking for a Video Editor who loves creating content for social media and understands that good editing isn't just about adding transitions—it's about making people stop scrolling, watch, and engage.
This is a freelance role for someone who enjoys creating fast-paced, engaging content and wants to understand how storytelling, psychology, and content strategy work together to grow a brand.
What You'll Be Doing
- Editing 10–12 reels per month
- Editing founder-led and storytelling-based content
- Creating engaging transitions and visual hooks
- Editing social media reels and ad creatives
- Assisting with content concepts and creative execution
- Ensuring videos feel native to Instagram and resonate with Gen Z and Millennial audiences
We're Looking For Someone Who
- Has a strong eye for pacing, storytelling, and visual flow
- Understands current social media trends and content styles
- Knows how to create strong hooks that keep viewers watching
- Is curious about marketing, consumer psychology, and content performance
- Pays attention to details and consistency
- Is reliable and delivers work on time
Tools
You should be comfortable with at least some of the following:
- Adobe Premiere Pro
- After Effects
- Other video editing software
Bonus Points If You
- Follow fashion, lifestyle, beauty, or D2C brands
- Have experience editing founder-led content
- Understand performance-driven content and ad creatives
- Enjoy studying why some videos perform better than others
