We are looking for a motivated and organized HR Assistant to support our day-to-day HR and administrative activities. The ideal candidate should have excellent English communication skills, good knowledge of MS Excel, and practical knowledge of payroll processing. The candidate should be detail-oriented, confidential, and capable of handling employee-related information professionally.
Key Responsibilities
- Support recruitment activities, including posting job vacancies, shortlisting resumes, coordinating with candidates, and scheduling interviews.
- Assist with employee onboarding, joining formalities, documentation, and induction.
- Maintain daily employee attendance records and prepare attendance reports.
- Manage and update employee leave records.
- Assist in monthly salary calculation and payroll processing.
- Coordinate and verify attendance, leave, overtime, and other payroll-related information.
- Maintain and update employee personal files, HR records, and HR databases.
- Handle basic employee queries related to HR policies, attendance, salary, leave, and other HR matters.
- Assist in preparing HR reports and maintaining accurate employee records using MS Excel.
- Provide administrative support for day-to-day office operations.
- Maintain office documents, records, correspondence, and other administrative files.
- Coordinate with employees and other departments to address HR and administrative requirements.
- Ensure confidentiality and proper handling of employee information and HR documents.
- Perform other HR and administrative duties as assigned by management.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
- 1–2 years of experience in HR or a similar administrative role preferred.
- Excellent verbal and written English communication skills.
- Good working knowledge of MS Excel, including basic formulas, data entry, sorting, filtering, and preparing reports.
- Good knowledge of payroll processing, salary calculations, attendance, leave, and payroll-related documentation.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills.
- Good attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive employee information.
- Good interpersonal and coordination skills.
- Proficiency in MS Office and general computer applications.
- Ability to work independently as well as coordinate effectively with different departments.
