The Opportunity
We are looking for a driven and detail-oriented Sales Support Specialist to join our growing remote team. In this role, you will be the engine behind our sales operation — qualifying leads, scheduling appointments, and keeping the sales pipeline moving efficiently. You will work directly alongside experienced freight forwarding sales professionals, playing a critical role in helping Kollyns connect global logistics companies with the right talent in India.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone with a background in freight forwarding or logistics who wants to apply their industry knowledge in a commercially impactful, client-facing support role — with the flexibility of fully remote work.
What You Will Do
- Appointment Setting & Calendar Management — Proactively reach out to prospective clients to schedule discovery calls and demos on behalf of the sales team; manage and coordinate calendars to ensure high-quality meetings are booked consistently
- Lead Qualification — Engage inbound and outbound leads through email, and LinkedIn to assess fit, gauge interest, and gather key information before passing to senior sales executives
- CRM & Pipeline Support — Maintain accurate and up-to-date records in the CRM; track lead status, follow-up tasks, and pipeline activity to support forecasting and reporting
- Sales Outreach Coordination — Assist in executing outreach sequences, follow-up communications, and prospecting campaigns targeted at freight forwarding and logistics companies
- Research & Prospecting — Identify and research potential clients — freight forwarders, 3PLs, and logistics operators — in target markets, building quality prospect lists for the sales team
- Internal Coordination — Liaise with internal teams to ensure seamless handoffs from lead qualification through to onboarding; support the sales team with proposal preparation and documentation
- Reporting — Provide weekly summaries on outreach activity, lead quality, and appointment volumes to support sales leadership decisions
What We Are Looking For
Experience
- 1–3 years of experience in freight forwarding, logistics, or a sales support / business development role within the logistics sector
- Demonstrable experience scheduling meetings, qualifying leads, or supporting a sales process in a B2B environment
Industry Knowledge
- A solid understanding of the freight forwarding sales cycle — you know the terminology, the decision-makers, and the pain points that matter to prospects
- Familiarity with how freight forwarding and logistics companies operate commercially
Communication Skills
- Exceptional written and spoken English — you will be the first point of contact for international prospects and must communicate with professionalism and clarity
- Confident and persuasive communicator, comfortable initiating conversations with senior-level decision-makers
Working Style
- Highly organized, self-motivated, and capable of managing multiple priorities independently in a remote environment
- Proactive follow-up mindset — you do not let leads go cold
- Tech-comfortable: CRM tools, email platforms, LinkedIn Sales Navigator, scheduling software
