Sales Associate – Banquet

Job Summary
We are looking for a proactive, well-groomed, and customer-oriented Sales Associate (Male/Female) to join our banquet sales team. The ideal candidate will be the first point of contact for prospective clients, responsible for handling inquiries, following up on leads, escorting guests during venue visits, maintaining customer records, and assisting in converting inquiries into confirmed bookings.
The candidate should possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a passion for delivering exceptional customer service.
Key Responsibilities
Customer Interaction & Sales
- Handle incoming inquiries through phone calls, WhatsApp, emails, social media, and walk-in visits.
- Make outbound calls to prospective and existing customers to generate leads and promote banquet services.
- Conduct regular follow-ups with prospective clients to maximize booking conversions.
- Explain banquet packages, pricing, services, and venue facilities to customers.
- Coordinate appointments and venue visits with prospective clients.
Guest Experience
- Welcome and professionally greet all walk-in customers.
- Escort guests during venue tours and showcase banquet halls, décor options, and available facilities.
- Understand customer requirements and suggest suitable event packages.
- Ensure every customer enjoys a pleasant and professional experience during their visit.
Record Management
- Maintain accurate records of customer inquiries, follow-ups, venue visits, and booking status.
- Update customer information in the booking management system.
- Prepare daily reports on calls made, follow-ups completed, walk-in visitors, and confirmed bookings.
- Maintain proper documentation of quotations, booking forms, and customer communications.
Coordination
- Coordinate with the Sales Manager and Operations Team regarding client requirements.
- Assist in preparing quotations, booking confirmations, and event documentation.
- Ensure smooth communication between clients and internal departments until the booking is finalized.
Desired Candidate Profile
- Graduate in any discipline (Hospitality, Marketing, or Business preferred).
- More than 2 years of experience in banquet sales, hospitality, customer service, or front office
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Pleasant personality with a professional appearance.
- Strong customer service, persuasion, and relationship-building skills.
- Ability to multitask and work in a target-oriented environment.

- Number of customer inquiries handled.
