Job Summary
We are looking for a detail-oriented Store Assistant to support daily store operations, including receiving materials, maintaining inventory records, issuing materials to production, and ensuring proper storage of materials. The ideal candidate should have basic knowledge of inventory management and experience in a manufacturing environment.
Key Responsibilities
Inventory Management
- Receive, inspect, and record incoming materials.
- Maintain accurate inventory records in ERP/Excel.
- Monitor stock levels and report shortages to the Store Incharge.
- Assist in periodic stock verification and inventory audits.
Material Handling
- Issue materials to production departments as per requisitions.
- Ensure proper storage and identification of raw materials, consumables, and finished goods.
- Maintain FIFO (First In, First Out) practices.
Documentation
- Prepare and maintain Goods Receipt Notes (GRN), material issue slips, and stock registers.
- Update inventory transactions in the ERP system.
- Maintain proper documentation for audits and compliance.
Store Maintenance
- Keep the store area clean, organized, and safe.
- Ensure proper labeling and storage of materials.
- Support 5S and safety activities within the store.
Coordination
- Assist in material movement and stock reconciliation activities.
Required Qualifications
- HSC / Diploma / Graduate in any discipline.
- Certification in Store Management or Inventory Management will be an added advantage.
Experience
- 1–3 years of experience in Stores or Inventory Management.
- Experience in a manufacturing industry preferred.
Pay: Up to ₹20,000.00 per month
