Job Title: Electrical Project Engineer

Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and motivated Electrical Project Engineer with hands-on experience in Data Centre projects or Core Electrical Infrastructure projects. The ideal candidate will be responsible for executing and managing electrical works from installation through commissioning and project handover.
Key Responsibilities:
- Execute and supervise electrical project activities from installation to commissioning and handover
- Manage site execution of HT/LT systems, transformers, switchgear, DG sets, UPS systems, busbar systems, power cabling, earthing, and lighting systems
- Coordinate with clients, consultants, subcontractors, and vendors for smooth project execution
- Review electrical drawings, SLDs, BOQs, and technical specifications
- Monitor project progress, manpower, and material requirements
- Ensure installation as per approved drawings, quality standards, and timelines
- Conduct site inspections and ensure compliance with safety and EHS standards
- Support testing and commissioning of electrical systems
- Prepare daily/weekly/monthly progress reports and maintain documentation
- Identify and resolve technical challenges during project execution
- Participate in project review meetings and provide updates
- Coordinate with procurement teams for material planning and delivery
- Supervise electrical termination activities (lugging, crimping, torque tightening, phase identification)
- Execute cable sizing, routing, dressing, and glanding as per standards
- Coordinate electrical interlock systems between DG, UPS, and switchgear
- Monitor power quality parameters such as voltage, load distribution, and insulation resistance
- Travel to project sites across India as required
Required Skills & Competencies:
- Strong knowledge of electrical project execution and site management
- Experience in Data Centre Electrical Systems / Critical Power Infrastructure / Industrial Projects
- Understanding of HT/LT power distribution systems
- Familiarity with transformers, DG systems, UPS, switchgear, and protection systems
- Ability to read SLDs, layouts, cable schedules, and technical drawings
- Proficiency in AutoCAD and MS Office
- Knowledge of testing and commissioning procedures
- Strong communication and coordination skills
- Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
Eligibility Criteria:
- B.E. / B.Tech in Electrical Engineering
- Minimum 1+ years of experience in Electrical Project Execution
- Mandatory experience in Data Centre / Mission Critical / Core Electrical Infrastructure projects
- Willingness to travel extensively across India
Note: Candidates with experience limited to electrical maintenance, facility management, or operations & maintenance (O&M) will not be considered.
