Job Description
Process Engineer.
1. Preparation of Mass Balance and Energy balance for the new processes / existing process.
2. Scale up calculations for new products to be mapped in plant from R&D. Involve in new products trial batches.
3. Extend Technical services help holistically to operations team as and when required.
4. Lead and active participation is safety studies like HAZOP, HIRA, PHA
5. Technical discussion with OEM for new technologies / Improvement in existing technologies / Trials at OEM.
6.Driving overall process excellence in Manufacturing to squeeze cost of production in all aspects.
7. Exposure to Jet Ejector system as well as Vacuum pumps.
8. Handling EG-Water distillation column and organic stripping column.
9. Having experience with different kind of Heat Exchangers like Shell and Tube heat Exchanger, Plate type Heat Exchanger, Coolers, and Evaporators etc.
10. Calculation of HOR, Vapour load calculation based on HTA & steam pressure and quantity fed per hr
11. Basic design requirements based on the types of plants / projects.
12. Development of PFD: Process & Utility, Process control flow schemes and P&IDs.
13. Philosophy, Valves Selection and sizing, Safety valves sizing.
14. Development of P&ID: Process and Utility, Line Sizing & Pressure Drop Calculations.
15. Knowledge and experience on Hydraulic calculations, such as Pipe hydraulics and Pump hydraulics.
16.Knowledge on Process design philosophies, such as process control, safe guarding, isolation, sparing
