Job Summary:
The HR Executive will be responsible for managing end-to-end recruitment, employee onboarding, attendance and leave management, payroll support, statutory compliance assistance, employee relations, and HR administration. The role requires ensuring smooth HR operations while maintaining compliance with labour laws and company policies. Experience working on Zoho People and related Zoho applications is preferred, as the organization uses Zoho software for HR and employee management processes.
Key Responsibilities
1. Recruitment &* Selection*
- Manage end-to-end recruitment process for Head Office and Site positions.
- Coordinate with department heads to understand manpower requirements.
- Source candidates through job portals, referrals, consultants, and social media platforms.
- Screen resumes, schedule interviews, and coordinate the selection process.
- Maintain recruitment trackers and candidate databases.
- Prepare and issue offer letters.
2. Employee Onboarding & Documentation
- Conduct employee onboarding and induction programs.
- Collect and verify employee documents.
- Prepare joining formalities and employee files.
- Coordinate employee ID creation and system access requirements.
- Maintain employee records and HR databases.
3. Payroll Support
- Prepare monthly salary working sheets for Head Office and Site employees.
- Verify attendance, leave deductions, overtime, and salary inputs.
- Assist in payroll processing and salary reconciliation.
- Generate and distribute salary slips.
4. Leave & Attendance Management
- Monitor daily attendance records for Head Office and Site employees.
- Track employee leave balances and maintain leave records.
- Coordinate with department heads regarding attendance discrepancies.
- Generate monthly attendance reports for payroll processing.
5. Statutory Compliance Support
- Prepare monthly PF, ESIC, and Professional Tax (PT) working sheets.
- Coordinate with consultants/vendors for statutory filings.
- Assist in maintaining compliance records and documentation.
- Support labor law compliance activities and audits.
- Ensure timely submission of compliance-related data.
6. Employee Travel Assistance
- Coordinate travel bookings for employees as per company requirements.
- Arrange transportation, accommodation, and travel-related documentation.
- Maintain travel records and expense details.
- Coordinate with employees regarding travel schedules.
7. HR Administration & Documentation
- Draft HR letters and documents
- Maintain employee files and HR records.
- Update HR MIS and reports.
8. Employee Relations & Grievance Handling
- Address employee queries related to attendance, payroll, leave, and policies.
- Assist in resolving employee grievances.
- Support employee engagement and welfare initiatives.
- Facilitate communication between employees and management.
Qualifications & Skills
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
- 1–3 years of experience in HR Generalist activities.
- Knowledge of recruitment, onboarding, payroll support, attendance management, and statutory compliances (PF, ESIC, PT).
- Good understanding of labour laws and HR documentation.
- Proficiency in MS Excel and HR reporting.
- Strong communication, coordination, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to handle confidential employee information with professionalism.
Preferred
- Hands-on experience with Zoho People, Zoho Payroll, Zoho Expense, or other Zoho HRMS modules will be preferred.
- Candidates familiar with HRMS implementation, employee data management, workflow automation, and attendance management through Zoho software will have an added advantage.
