Key Responsibilities
- Assembly and Installation: Assembling and installing mechanical components, machinery, and systems (e.g., pumps, gearboxes, conveyor systems).
- Maintenance and Repairs: Performing routine maintenance, inspecting, and repairing heavy machinery to prevent failures.
- Troubleshooting: Diagnosing malfunctions and repairing faulty equipment, often including piping systems, valves, and structural supports.
- Precision Work: Reading, interpreting, and working from technical drawings, diagrams, and schematics to meet precise specifications.
- Tool Operation: Utilizing hand tools, power tools, precision measuring instruments, and cutting/welding equipment for fabrication and adjustments.
- Safety Compliance: Adhering to health and safety regulations, including risk assessments, permits to work, and maintaining a clean work area.
- Documentation: Keeping accurate records of repairs, maintenance, and safety audits.
