Job Summary
OJD Education is looking for a responsible, punctual, and safety-conscious Driver with a minimum of 1 year of professional driving experience. The ideal candidate should have excellent knowledge of Lucknow city routes and be committed to ensuring the safe and timely transportation of company officials.
The candidate must possess a valid and updated Driving Licence and Aadhaar Card. Preference will be given to candidates who are residents of Lucknow and have a clean driving record.
Key ResponsibilitiesSafe Driving & Transportation
- Safely transport company officials, staff, and guests to designated locations.
- Ensure timely pick-up and drop-off as per the assigned schedule.
- Follow all traffic rules and road safety regulations.
- Plan the most efficient travel routes to avoid delays.
- Drive responsibly while ensuring the safety and comfort of passengers.
Vehicle Maintenance
- Maintain the cleanliness and proper condition of the assigned vehicle.
- Conduct daily inspections of the vehicle before starting duty.
- Check fuel level, engine oil, coolant, tyre pressure, brakes, lights, and battery regularly.
- Report any vehicle repairs or maintenance requirements promptly.
- Ensure timely servicing of the vehicle.
Professional Conduct
- Maintain punctuality, discipline, and professional behavior.
- Follow instructions provided by the reporting authority.
- Maintain confidentiality regarding official travel and company matters.
- Be courteous and respectful while interacting with staff and visitors.
Eligibility
- Minimum educational qualification: Class 10th or Class 12th Pass.
- Minimum 1 year of professional driving experience.
- Good knowledge of Lucknow city routes and surrounding areas.
- Candidate should be a resident of Lucknow.
- Immediate joiners will be preferred.
Mandatory Documents
- Valid & Updated Driving Licence (LMV).
- Aadhaar Card.
Mandatory Requirements
- No smoking during working hours or inside the company vehicle.
- Strictly no alcohol consumption or driving under the influence of alcohol.
- Must follow all traffic rules and company safety policies.
- Responsible, honest, and disciplined attitude.
- Clean driving record with a strong commitment to road safety.
