We have an app, a growing user base, and a community structure spanning pan india. This role is about understanding which features of the app actually work, guiding the community team using real stats instead of instinct, and making sure our UI/UX evolves based on evidence, not assumption.
What You’ll Do
- Own the analysis of app usage data — feature adoption, drop-off points, retention, engagement by city/cohort — and turn it into clear, actionable recommendations
- Own the UI/UX direction of the app — not hands-on design, but briefing designers/tech team on friction points, running feedback loops with actual users and community members, and pushing for evidence-based product decisions
- Regularly guide the Community team using data, e.g., flagging which cities are underperforming, which ambassador activities drive retention, where drop-off is happening
- Analyze youth behavior trends from a product/feature lens — what formats, mechanics, or app behaviors youth are engaging with elsewhere (social apps, gaming, community platforms) — and recommend what’s relevant to build or test
- Set up simple, sustainable reporting/dashboards (even basic ones) so data is visible and actionable on a regular cadence, not a one-off exercise
- Work closely with the Manager – Brand Marketing to ensure content/brand decisions and product/community decisions are informed by the same underlying data
- Run lightweight user research directly with student ambassadors/creators to validate what the numbers are showing
What We’re Looking For
- At least 2–4 years experience of experience in product analytics, growth, or product management — consumer app experience strongly preferred
- Comfortable working directly with data — basic SQL/Excel/analytics tools (Mixpanel, GA, or similar); doesn’t need a data team to get answers
- Some UX sensibility — able to identify and articulate friction points even without being a hands-on designer
- Strong communication skills — able to translate data findings into clear, simple direction that a City Leader or TL can act on immediately
- Naturally curious about youth digital behavior — comfortable running informal surveys/research to supplement quantitative data
- Structured and organized — this role needs to build reporting rhythms from scratch and keep them running
