Key Responsibilities:
The Proposal Engineer - Automation is responsible for preparing technical and commercial proposals for automation projects
Proposal Preparation: Develop comprehensive technical and commercial proposals for automation projects, ensuring alignment with client requirements and company standards.
Coordinate with the design and engineering teams to ensure the accuracy of technical specifications and designs.
Prepare detailed cost estimates, including material, labor, and equipment costs, to ensure competitive and profitable proposals.
Work with procurement to obtain accurate pricing for materials and services.
Engage with clients to understand their needs and provide technical clarifications during the proposal phase.
Ensure that all risks are documented and communicated to relevant stakeholders.
Prepare and maintain all necessary documentation related to proposals, including technical specifications, commercial terms, and compliance requirements.
Ensure that all proposal documents are reviewed and approved by relevant stakeholders before submission.
Work closely with the sales, design, engineering, and project teams to ensure that all aspects of the proposal are aligned and meet client expectations.
Coordinate with procurement and finance to ensure that all financial aspects of the proposal are accurate and feasible.
Identify areas for improvement in the proposal development process and implement best practices to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
Participate in post-project reviews to gather feedback and apply learnings to future proposals.
3-5 years of experience in proposal engineering, cost estimation, or a related role in the automation industry.
Skills:
Strong technical knowledge in automation systems and solutions.
Proficiency in cost estimation and financial analysis.
Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
Strong organizational and time management skills.
Pay: ₹30,000.00 - ₹50,000.00 per month
