JOB DESCRIPTION – PGT ENGLISH
Position: Post Graduate Teacher (PGT) – English

Key Responsibilities:
Plan and deliver engaging, student-centric English lessons in accordance with the CBSE curriculum.
Teach English Language and Literature effectively to senior secondary students.
Develop students’ reading, writing, speaking, listening, critical thinking, and analytical skills.
Prepare lesson plans, teaching resources, assignments, worksheets, and assessments.
Use innovative and interactive teaching methodologies, including technology-enabled learning.
Conduct regular formative and summative assessments and provide constructive feedback.
Identify individual learning needs and implement appropriate remedial and enrichment strategies.
Encourage students to participate in debates, elocution, creative writing, literary activities, and other language-related events.
Maintain accurate academic records and monitor students’ progress and performance.
Foster a positive, inclusive, and disciplined classroom environment.
Collaborate with colleagues, coordinators, and parents to support students’ academic and overall development.
Participate actively in school events, meetings, workshops, professional development programmes, and co-curricular activities.
Contribute to the development of a strong reading culture and effective communication skills among students.
Eligibility & Qualifications:
Master’s Degree in English from a recognised university.
B.Ed. or equivalent teaching qualification.
Minimum 2–5 years of relevant teaching experience, preferably in a reputed CBSE school.
Strong command of spoken and written English.
Good knowledge of the CBSE curriculum and assessment practices.
Excellent communication, classroom management, and interpersonal skills.
Proficiency in using digital tools and technology for teaching and learning.
Desirable Qualities:
Passionate, creative, and enthusiastic approach towards teaching.
Ability to inspire and motivate senior secondary students.
Strong organisational and leadership skills.
Commitment to continuous professional development and holistic education.
Note: Salary will be commensurate with qualifications and experience.
Pay: ₹30,000.00 - ₹35,000.00 per month
Work Location: In person
