BWAS Industries is looking for a Site Work Supervisor to supervise and coordinate site activities, including site measurements, fabrication and installation work, welding/job work, manpower management, and coordination with contractors and outsourcing agencies. The candidate will be responsible for ensuring that site work is completed safely, accurately, and within the planned timeline and quality standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise and monitor day-to-day site activities and installation work.
- Visit project sites and take accurate measurements as required for fabrication and installation.
- Coordinate with the production/fabrication team based on site measurements and requirements.
- Supervise welding, fabrication, cutting, fitting, assembly, and installation work at the site.
- Coordinate with contractors, outsourced workers, fabricators, welders, and other job-work agencies.
- Allocate work to workers and monitor manpower productivity at the site.
- Ensure that work is carried out according to approved drawings, measurements, specifications, and instructions.
- Check the quality, alignment, dimensions, finishing, and installation of fabricated items.
- Coordinate the movement and availability of materials, tools, equipment, and consumables at the site.
- Follow up with contractors and outsourcing agencies regarding job completion and delivery schedules.
- Monitor the progress of outsourced and job-work activities and report delays to management.
- Identify site-related issues and coordinate with the concerned departments for timely resolution.
- Maintain records of site measurements, work progress, manpower, materials, and job-work activities.
- Coordinate with the purchase/store department regarding material requirements.
- Ensure proper handling and usage of company materials at the site.
- Qualifications:
- ITI / Diploma in Fitter, Welder, Fabrication, Mechanical, Civil, or a related field.
- 2-4 years of relevant experience in site supervision, fabrication, installation, or industrial job work.
- Practical knowledge of metal fabrication, welding, fitting, and installation activities.
- Good understanding of site measurements and basic technical drawings.
- Experience in handling workers, contractors, and outsourced manpower.
Pay: ₹17,000.00 - ₹22,000.00 per month
