Job Description
We are looking for a Testing Engineer with 1–2 years of experience in Current Transformer (CT) and Potential Transformer (PT) testing. The candidate will be responsible for carrying out routine, type, and acceptance tests as per applicable standards while ensuring product quality and compliance.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform routine, type, and acceptance testing of CT/PT transformers.
- Conduct electrical tests such as ratio, polarity, insulation resistance (IR), winding resistance, burden, accuracy, and high-voltage (HV) tests.
- Ensure testing is carried out in accordance with applicable standards and quality procedures.
- Prepare and maintain test reports and inspection records.
- Analyze test results and identify non-conformities.
- Coordinate with production and quality teams to resolve testing issues.
- Calibrate and maintain testing instruments and equipment.
- Ensure compliance with safety procedures and testing protocols.
Required Skills
- Hands-on experience in CT/PT transformer testing.
- Knowledge of transformer testing procedures and electrical testing equipment.
- Ability to read electrical drawings and test specifications.
- Familiarity with quality systems and documentation.
- Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills.
- Good communication and teamwork abilities.
Qualifications
- B.E./B.Tech or Diploma in Electrical Engineering
- 1–2 years of relevant experience in CT/PT transformer testing
Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
