The Corporate Event Sales Manager is responsible for generating revenue through corporate events, conferences, meetings, and annual functions. This role involves identifying new business opportunities, building strong client relationships, and delivering tailored event solutions that align with client objectives and brand standards.
Key Responsibilities
1. Business Development & Sales
- Identify and target corporate clients for meetings, conferences, seminars, and events
- Generate new leads through networking, cold calling, referrals, and industry events
- Achieve monthly and annual sales targets and revenue goals
- Develop and maintain a strong sales pipeline
2. Client Relationship Management
- Build and maintain long-term relationships with corporate clients, agencies, and event planners
- Understand client requirements and provide customized event proposals
- Conduct site visits, presentations, and client meetings
- Act as the primary point of contact from inquiry to event confirmation
3. Proposal & Contract Management
- Prepare detailed proposals, quotations, and contracts
- Negotiate pricing and terms to maximize revenue while ensuring client satisfaction
- Coordinate with finance for billing, deposits, and payment follow-ups
4. Event Coordination (Pre-Sales Handover)
- Liaise with operations, banquet, and F&B teams for seamless event execution
- Ensure accurate communication of client requirements to internal teams
- Participate in pre-event meetings and planning sessions
5. Market Intelligence & Strategy
- Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and pricing strategies
- Identify new business segments and revenue streams
- Support marketing campaigns and promotional strategies
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality, Business Administration, Marketing, or related field
- 3–8 years of experience in event sales, hospitality sales, or corporate sales
- Strong communication, negotiation, and presentation skills
- Proven track record of achieving sales targets
- Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple clients/events
- Proficiency in CRM systems and Microsoft Office
Pay: ₹500,000.00 - ₹1,000,000.00 per year
