Job Summary:
We are looking out for a Proposal Engineer to prepare techno-commercial proposals for solar EPC for rooftop projects. Also, to engage in activity related to trading job related to CESC.
Key Responsibilities:
1. BOQ & Costing Support

Prepare basic Bills of Quantities (BOQs) for solar project components including modules, inverters, MMS, cables, earthing systems, etc.

Coordinate with OEMs and vendors for trading-related requirements.

Collect, analyse, and compare vendor quotations; regularly update the price database.

Support preparation of detailed project cost estimations and budgetary calculations.
2. Proposal & Tender Support

Assist in the preparation of techno-commercial proposals for solar projects.

Prepare compliance matrices, technical datasheets, and supporting documents as per tender requirements.

Compile, review, and organize complete tender documents for timely submissions.
3. Coordination & Documentation

Coordinate closely with sales and procurement teams to gather inputs and ensure alignment.

Maintain structured proposal folders, records, and documentation for future reference and audits.
Skills & Competencies
-
Basic understanding of solar PV systems, components, and overall plant configuration.

Knowledge of industrial rooftop solar projects and related execution considerations.

Familiarity with EPC contract fundamentals, including scope, deliverables, and commercial terms.

Strong documentation skills with the ability to prepare and organize technical and commercial records.

Good written and verbal communication skills for coordination with internal teams, OEMs, and vendors.
