About the Role
uTechies Laptop Service Center is looking for a skilled and motivated Laptop Repair Technician to join our growing team. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in diagnosing, troubleshooting, repairing, and servicing laptops from major brands such as Dell, HP, Lenovo, ASUS, Acer, MSI, and Apple MacBooks.
Key Responsibilities
- Diagnose and troubleshoot laptop hardware and software issues.
- Perform laptop repairs including:
- Screen replacement
- Keyboard replacement
- Battery replacement
- Hinge and body repairs
- Fan replacement and cleaning
- SSD and RAM upgrades.
- Install and configure Windows operating systems and drivers.
- Conduct laptop servicing, internal cleaning, thermal paste replacement, and preventive maintenance.
- Maintain repair records and update job status regularly.
- Communicate repair findings and recommendations to customers professionally.
- Ensure quality checks before delivering repaired devices.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Minimum 1–3 years of experience in laptop repair and troubleshooting.
- Knowledge of laptop hardware components and motherboard architecture.
- Familiarity with Windows installation, software troubleshooting, and driver management.
- Ability to diagnose and repair laptops from multiple brands.
- Good communication and customer-handling skills.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities.
