Business Development Manager (BDM)
Job Summary
We are looking for a dynamic and result-oriented Business Development Manager to promote our training programs, build strong client relationships, and drive student enrollments and corporate training partnerships. The ideal candidate should have excellent communication, sales, and marketing skills with the ability to identify new business opportunities.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify and develop new business opportunities for training programs and courses.
- Generate leads through direct marketing, networking, social media, and referrals.
- Counsel students/professionals regarding suitable training programs.
- Build and maintain relationships with colleges, companies, and corporate clients.
- Conduct presentations, seminars, and promotional activities.
- Achieve monthly and quarterly admission/sales targets.
- Coordinate with the marketing team for campaigns and promotions.
- Follow up with leads and maintain accurate records in CRM/software.
- Prepare business proposals, quotations, and partnership agreements.
- Analyze market trends and competitor activities to improve business strategies.
Required Skills
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
- Strong sales and marketing abilities.
- Good interpersonal and relationship management skills.
- Ability to work under targets and deadlines.
- Basic knowledge of MS Office and CRM tools.
- Presentation and convincing skills.
Qualification
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or related field.
- MBA preferred (optional).
Experience
- 1–5 years of experience in business development, sales, or educational counseling.
- Experience in training institutes, EdTech, or education sector preferred.
