Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced and result-oriented Production Engineer to manage and optimize the manufacturing operations of uPVC Windows and Doors. The candidate will be responsible for overseeing production planning, fabrication processes, quality control, workforce management, and ensuring timely delivery while maintaining high quality and safety standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan, coordinate, and supervise daily production activities for uPVC windows and doors.
- Ensure production targets are achieved as per delivery schedules.
- Monitor cutting, welding, corner cleaning, assembly, glazing, and hardware fitting processes.
- Optimize machine utilization and manpower productivity.
- Coordinate with Design, Planning, Procurement, Quality, and Installation teams.
- Ensure compliance with production drawings, specifications, and quality standards.
- Reduce material wastage and improve production efficiency.
- Conduct root cause analysis for production defects and implement corrective actions.
- Monitor inventory consumption and coordinate material requirements with stores.
- Maintain production reports, machine logs, and performance records.
- Implement Lean Manufacturing, 5S, and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Ensure adherence to workplace safety and company policies.
- Train and guide operators and supervisors on best manufacturing practices.
Required Qualifications
- B.Tech / Diploma in Mechanical Engineering, Production Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or related field.
- 2–5 years of experience in uPVC windows & doors manufacturing.
- Strong understanding of fabrication and assembly processes.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and fabrication schedules.
- Knowledge of production planning and process optimization.
- Experience in handling production teams and shop-floor operations.
Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹22,000.00 per month
